Agentic Development: The Next Evolution of Software Engineering
My first in-person conference session in quite a few years. The talk moves past “AI can write code” into what agentic development looks like as an engineering model: design, coding, automation, spec-driven development, workflow integration, guardrails and governance.
The useful question is not whether agents can produce software. It is how the relationship between developer and machine changes when software can participate in the lifecycle rather than merely autocomplete it.
